Chris Brown is a popular R&B and Pop Singer and Dancer, who made his debut in 2005 at the tender age of 16. Chris Brown first broke onto the music scene and the pop charts with his single Run It!, off his chart-topping self-titled debut album.
Since then, Brown has found himself all over the pop charts and on a roller coaster ride towards superstardom. With key radio hits such as Kiss Kiss, With You, No Air and Shawty Get Loose, the latter two being featured appearances.

Chris Brown got his big break when his local production team connected him with record labels. He subsequently flew to New York and auditioned for Def Jam Vice President Tina Davis. She loved him and he was signed to a major record label.
Chris Brown had to leave school late 2004 to begin the production for his debut album. The album was released in November 2005 and has since been certified platinum. Chris Brown has many collaborations on the album including artists such as Scott Storch, The Underdogs, Dre and Vidal, Bryan Cox, Bow Wow and Jermaine Dupri. Chris Brown then came out with his debut single, "Run It!" which was #1 in the United States as well as other parts of the world such as Japan and Australia. Following "Run It!", "Yo (Excuse Me Miss)" became Chris Brown's second top 10 hit in the US, peaking at #7 and #13 in the UK. It has been certified platinum by the RIAA. His third single "Gimme That" was released in March 2006. The single debuted on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 at #80 and climbed the charts quickly. Chris Brown's fourth single will be the ballad "Say Goodbye". His is currently writing songs for his sophomore album, set to release October 2006, and touring.
Chris Brown is often stated as the next Usher, Michael Jackson or Tevin Campbell. Chris Brown says that he is honored to be compared to them, but he wants to be recognized as an individual and be known as himself. He is now hailed as "The Future of R&B", as it is said on some of the tracks on his album.
