A British electronic duo based in London, Groove Armada's early career consisted mostly of recording and club appearances, with a number of collaborations. The most high-profile of these was working with Prince in the mid '90s. Their single, "4 Tune Cookie" brought them moderate fame.
The duo's first album was "Northern Star" in '98, with "Vertigo" following in '99. The '01 "Goodbye Country" was nominated for a Grammy. After the release of "Superstylin'," the bands style changed to what was described as "sassy funk." "Black Light" was released in '09, with "White Light" preceding a 2010 tour of Australia and 2011 events in the UK.
