The rock singer and actor, Gregg Allman, began his singing career in 1965 out of Nashville, Tennessee. Best known as a founding member of the Allman brothers Band, he has made his own name as a performer of rock and blues.
Allman has released seven albums during his solo career. In 2005, he became a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and in 2006 The Georgia Music Hall of Fame presented him with the "Lifetime Achievement Award."
