American Country music star, Toby Keith, launches a tour of North America at the end of this month in promotion of his thirteenth studio album, American Ride.
Keith has come a long way since his debut single, “Should’ve Been a Cowboy,” back in 1993. Since then, he has recorded nineteen number one hits, and performed eight different USO tours. He’s kept very busy.
According to Keith, he simply works hard, and enjoys the results of his labor. It is a practice that clearly works for him, having sold more than thirty million albums.
As the writer of nearly all of his recorded music, Keith is very close to its content. Most of his songs are composed while touring.
Keith is a fun-loving, bold type, who is also well-known for his serious, patriotic side. Keith’s musical themes range from honky-tonk to political.
A true crowd pleaser, Keith definitely puts his all into his live performances. Don’t miss The American Ride Tour, set to kick off on May 29 in Fort Knox, Kentucky. Keith will play shows in both Toronto and Vancouver, then continue his tour in the U.S. The final show will be September 25, in Mansfield, Massachusetts.
