If you’ve been light on social media for the past few weeks, or just can’t keep up with the latest flurry of Vancouver concert announcements, you’d be forgiven for feeling a little overwhelmed with new concert tour announcements! Since October 26th, Rogers Arena alone has announced no less than six new Grade A concert tours next year, including huge names like Ariana Grande, the Backstreet Boys, Bob Seger and Michael Buble. Rihanna brings Anti World Tour in 2016 – Tickets now on sale
It’s been two years since pop megastar Rihanna last toured, and now she’s back with a sparkling new album and fresh set of headline tour dates. Her latest album – titled Anti – is still pending release, following rumours of an exclusive release through streaming service Tidal . The new tour and album will mark Rihanna’s first headlining excursion since 2012’s Unapologetic and the Diamonds World Tour.
The Anti World Tour kicks off February 26th, 2016 in San Diego, CA and will make stops across North America until May 7th. European dates will run from June 7 to August 12, 2016.
Canadian stops on the tour include Montreal (April 6), Toronto (April 13), Edmonton (April 20), Calgary (April 21) and Vancouver (April 23).

The Weeknd brings The Madness Tour to Vancouver on December 2nd
He’s been all over the radio airwaves with hit singles “Earned It” and “Can’t Feel My Face”, and now fans will get a chance to see The Weeknd perform live on tour this fall. The Madness Tour kicks off November 3rd in the breakout artist’s hometown of Toronto, before continuing on to 20 more North American cities. Other Canadian stops on the tour include Vancouver (December 2), Calgary (November 29) and Edmonton (November 30). The tour is in support of The Weeknd’s latest album Beauty Behind the Madness released on August 27th.
