Earlier today, celebrated pop star, Janet Jackson, announced dates for her upcoming Janet Jackson Number Ones, Up Close and Personal Tour.
The tour will get underway on March 4th in Houston, TX, with a set list to include a range of her thirty-five number one hits from the 2009 album, Number Ones.
Jackson called on her fans to help determine the direction of the tour, choosing cities that were voted on via her official website. She is set to play small venues in thirty-five North American cities, with lots of back stage opportunities and meet and greets. According to her website, Jackson’s tour will be “more revealed, more intimate, and more personal than ever before.”
