Last week, Britney Spears announced a North American summer tour in support of her newest album, Femme Fatale.

The tour kicks off in Sacramento, California on June 17th, and wraps up in Toronto, Ontario on August 13th. Other Canadian stops include Vancouver, Winnipeg, and Montreal.

Pixies Bring Doolittle Tour to Canada

The legendary Pixies will bring the Doolittle World Tour, which began in the fall of 2009, to Canada this spring. The tour kicks off in Halifax on April 9th, and closes out in Victoria on May 5th. The band will play two nights in Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, and Vancouver.

Australian pop queen, Kylie Minogue, has announced plans for a global tour this spring. The Aphrodite – Live 2011 World Tour will kick off in Denmark on February 19th.

Minogue will be touring in support of her 2010 release, Aphrodite. Fueled by the hit single, “Get Outta My Way,” Aphrodite reached number one on charts in the U.K. and nineteen on U.S. charts.

Country music’s Alan Jackson will be bringing his Freight Train Tour to Canada in February. The tour begins in Sudbury, ON on February 1st, and ends in Dawson Creek, BC on March 31st.

Jackson is touring in support of his newest studio album, Freight Train, which hit the shelves last spring. Jackson’s best-of album, 34 Number Ones, which includes a cover of Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire,” was released in November.
