Rush adds Vancouver, Calgary tour dates

The prayers of music fans in Western Canada have been answered. Legendary Canadian rock band and future Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Rush have added additional dates to their Clockwork Angels tour, which now includes summer stops in Vancouver and Calgary. Rush fans – and there are certainly many of them – initially decried the band’s omission of Western Canada for their first run of the tour last fall.

The new dates include July 24 in Calgary, followed by a July 26 appearance in Vancouver. Tickets go on sale February 22, but fans can buy Rush tickets in advance with ShowTimeTickets.com.

July 2 – Cincinnati, Ohio, Riverbend Music Center
July 4 – Milwaukee, Wis., Marcus Amphitheater (as part of Summerfest)
July 6 – Hamilton, Ontario, Copps Coliseum
July 12 – Halifax, Nova, Scotia, Halifax Metro Centre
July 24 – Calgary, Alberta, Scotiabank Saddledome
July 26 – Vancouver, British Columbia, Rogers Arena
July 28 – Ridgefield, Wash., Sleep Country Amphitheater
July 31 – Salt Lake City, Utah, Usana Amphitheatre
Aug. 2 – Denver, Colo., Pepsi Center
