Famed Led Zeppelin front-man, Robert Plant, revealed the tour dates for the second leg of his Band of Joy North American tour this week.
The tour kicks off on January 18th in Asheville, NC, and ends with two nights at the War Memorial Auditorium in Nashville, TN on February 8th and 9th. Plant will also play one show in Toronto on January 22nd. The North Mississippi Allstars will offer support as opening act for all dates.
Band of Joy is Plant’s most recent musical collaboration. Along with Buddy Miller, Patty Griffin, Darrell Scott, Byron House, and Marco Giovino, Plant created a folksy album sampling songs mostly from the sixties, borrowing from musicians like Townes Van Zandt and Los Lobos. The group played their first round of tour dates in July, and released the album in September.
