Rihanna: The Last Girl on Earth Tour

Two-time Grammy award winning, Rihanna, will embark on an extensive 2010 tour in support of her fourth album, Rated R.
Rihanna hasn’t slowed down since signing with Def Jam Records in 2005. She topped the charts with her debut album, Music of the Sun, and earned “Female Artist of the Year” with the release of her sophomore album, A Girl Like Me, just eight months later.
Rihanna’s popularity seems to increase with every album; and with every album she adds an edgier look and sound. In 2007, the single “Umbrella” from her third album, reached number one, and eventually earned her “Video of the Year” and “Monster Single of the Year.”
The 2009 release, Rated R, delves further into Rihanna’s rebellious side. The album is her highest selling to date, moving over 180,000 in its first week.
When speaking about the Rated R tour, Rihanna says that she and her crew are making “daring” attempts to create an innovative show certain to impress her broad fan base.
The Last Girl on Earth Tour kicks off its North American leg on July 2nd in Auburn, Washington. Rihanna will make three stops in Canada before returning to the U.S., closing out the tour in Chicago on August 25th.
