Mumford & Sons, Beyonce highlight new concert announcements

Toronto and Vancouver began summer with hot concert news, as two of the biggest names in music announced new tour dates north of the border today.

Beyonce Knowles is already in the middle of a gargantuan tour that’s already taken her through Europe and has her filling arenas across the United States this summer. That didn’t stop the former Destiny’s Child star from announcing another 22 concert dates to close out 2013, which include South American dates and a West Coast swing that includes a November 20th gig at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena. Mumford & Sons announce new August concerts and rescheduled postponed dates
After Mumford & Sons bassist Ted Dwane underwent emergency surgery for a blood clot in his brain, the band has been on hiatus from touring this summer. Festival appearances at Bonnaroo and the Telluride Bluegrass Festival were cancelled, with others postponed until now. A new schedule of summer dates has been released by the band. “The Full English Tour” begins with an August 24th stop in Simcoe, Ontario and an August 26th concert in Toronto. Tickets to the new Mumford & Sons are being distributed with an invitation onsale that concludes next week.
