Creators of the virtual band, Gorillaz, Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett are taking the group on the road for an extensive world tour in support of their acclaimed third album, Plastic Beach. Live performances are a multimedia experience that often feature cameos from major artists like Mick Jones and Paul Simonon from The Clash.
The North American leg of the tour kicks off in Canada at Montreal’s Bell Centre, then travels south for dates in sixteen U.S. cities, before closing out at Rogers Arena in Vancouver.
Following the North American stops, Gorillaz will make their way through Europe, and then finish with a series of dates in Australia. The European dates that were previously scheduled for September have been rescheduled for November.
