Spring is finally upon us, and with it our attention turns to plans for the sunnier days ahead. The spring and summer are always marked by big concert announcements and dates. Even today, fans of KISS and Motley Crue got their wish in the form of a 2012 joint tour. However, for every fan who hears that their favorite act is coming to town there is a fan left waiting – and wanting – for that tour news release that just doesn’t come.
Living in Vancouver, here are my top five bands – in no particular order – that I’m crossing my fingers will *someday* come to the West Coast:
1.) The Red Hot Chili Peppers
2.) Faith No More
3.) Rage Against the Machine
4.) Lukas Nelson and the Promise of the Real
5.) Thievery Corporation
