Bon Jovi Kicks Off World Tour

Bon Jovi

For two and a half decades, Bon Jovi has been reaching the top of the charts. Known for their rock anthems, Bon Jovi has yielded such hits as “You Give Love a Bad Name” and “Wanted Dead or Alive.”

They have renewed their sound over time, changing their musical format enough to stay on pace with the contemporary rock scene. With that, the American rockers have experienced continuous popularity since their start in the eighties.

The band proved their staying power with the energized 2000 effort, Crush. The album went double-platinum, and produced the very popular single, “It’s My Life.”

Their newest album, The Circle, was released in late 2009. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, and sold 163,000 copies in its first week in the U.S. Band members call it “a return to rock,” following their country inspired, Lost Highway, released in 2007.
This, their eleventh album, consists of some heavy rock tracks, reminiscent of past hits like “Livin’ on a Prayer.”

You will not want to miss Bon Jovi, as they make their way to your city beginning this month. The Circle World Tour kicks off today at the ARCO Arena in Sacramento, California.
