Eight Must-See Concert Tours of 2013

Not having the NHL playoffs in Canadian arenas has put a damper on the events scene lately, but there are still a lot of hot tickets to be excited about this summer.

This weekend saw the likes of the Rolling Stones and Mumford & Sons rock the stage in Toronto and Surrey respectively, and it’s just the beginning of a long list of marquee concerts coming to an arena near you. Whether you’re a fan of The Eagles, Paul McCartney, Pink, One Direction or Justin Timberlake, there’s something for every music fan’s taste in 2013.

Here’s our breakdown of the must-see concerts of 2013:

The Rolling Stones50 and Counting Tour
Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and the boys have been hip-wagging, guitar-riffing and rocking the stage for longer than many of us have been alive, but 50 years into their careers the Rolling Stones still have what it takes to put on a performance. Ticket prices have been a talking point surrounding the tour, but hey – it’s the Rolling Stones. They are one of rock and roll’s true pioneering legends, and fans would be sorry not to see them live while they still can.

Justin Timberlake & Jay-Z Legends of the Summer Tour
Before Bieber Fever came along, Mr. Timberlake was the only Justin #1 the charts and in the hearts of young ladies the world over. Fast forward to 2013 and the release of his first album since 2006, and JT is looking and sounding as smooth as ever. Timberlake on his own would be worth the price of admission, but the Legends of the Summer tour also features hip-hop/rap icon Jay-Z as Justin’s partner on stage. The mega-duo will be playing stadiums from July to August, before Timberlake embarks on the solo leg of his 20/20 Experience tour to close out 2014.
