It may be sad to think of summer ending, but there are at least two reasons to get excited for fall.
First up is Bumbershoot, which occurs every September in the heart of Seattle at the Seattle Center. It is one of North America’s largest urban arts and music festivals, and has been showcasing local talent alongside world renowned performers since 1971.
There is never a shortage of talented musicians in this city. This year’s lineup highlights the local sound, but also boasts big acts such as Bob Dylan, Neko Case, Mary J. Blige, Weezer, Hole, Drake, The Decemberists, and The Dandy Warhols.
Also happening this fall is the annual Austin City Limits Festival, held at Zilker Park in Austin, TX. The three-day extravaganza attracts more than sixty thousand visitors each day. This premier festival brings together more than 130 bands on eight stages, blending rock, roots, indie, country, reggae, and hip-hop.
