The incredibly funny Jerry Seinfeld is currently on tour, and will be stopping in Vancouver later this summer.
Jerry Seinfeld is best known for his successful sitcom, Seinfeld, which ruled prime-time television for nearly ten years.
In his post-Seinfeld career, Jerry Seinfeld co-wrote and starred in “Bee Movie,” and produced the reality show, “The Marriage Ref.”
Luckily for fans everywhere, he has also returned to his first passion, stand-up comedy. He is back on stage and on tour!
Seinfeld has stops planned for Ontario and BC, and a final performance booked in Ledyard, Connecticut on December 4. Read More

NFL Draft Under Way

nfl-logoThe week began with big news from the NFL as the league released the 2010 regular season schedule.
One of the most exciting announcements is that the season will kick off with current Super Bowl champs, the New Orleans Saints, taking on last year’s NFC rival, the Minnesota Vikings, for the opening game. In what was one of the most memorable match-ups of last season, the highly anticipated rematch will get the season under way with a bang.
Yesterday marked another big day in football, as the first of the three-day NFL draft. The buzz surrounding the initial draft picks goes to the Sooners with three of the first four picks coming from the University of Oklahoma. The St. Louis Rams scored the number one pick, choosing Sam Bradford, 2008 Heisman winner and quarterback for the University of Oklahoma.
The 2010 draft is being broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall in New York. An event filled with this much nail-biting drama deserves its place on center stage.

Bell Centre is set to host UFC 113, the match-up between Lyoto ‘The Dragon’ Machida and Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua. After their controversial five round fight in October, this highly anticipated rematch will remove any doubt as to who is the best light heavyweight in the world.

In the wake of the time slot controversy involving The Tonight Show, former TV-show host, Conan O’Brien has decided to take his act on the road. It has been reported that upon leaving The Tonight Show, O’Brien is obligated under contract to stay off television until September, which marks an end to his agreement with the network.
According to an article from TicketNews.com, an announcement was made yesterday whereby O’Brien appears to be side-stepping the rules with the launch of a live North American comedic tour. The countdown is on for the biggest event in world soccer. The 2010 FIFA World Cup is set to take place from mid-June to mid-July. This is the nineteenth tournament of its kind. Hosting the events is South Africa, the first African nation ever chosen as the site for the competition.
