Christine McVie rejoins Fleetwood Mac to get On With The Show this fall

Fleetwood Mac has announced a new world tour for fall, and this time long-time singer and keyboardist Christine McVie will be back with the band. McVie, who was with the band for 30 years, originally left the band in 1998.

The On With The Show tour will visit 33 cities across North America, including Canadian stops in Toronto, Ottawa, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. The band will kick off its latest excursion September 30th in Minneapolis. Tickets go on sale to the general public April 7th.

Tickets to Luke Bryan’s “My Kind of Night” Tour now on sale

Tickets to country music star Luke Bryan‘s Canadian tour dates are now on sale. The My Kind of Night Tour follows up the release of Bryan’s most recent album, Crash My Party that came out last August.

Canadian dates on this leg of the tour consist of the following:
Vancouver, BC – Saturday, May 3rd (Rogers Arena)
Kelowna, BC – Sunday, May 4th (Prospera Place)
Dawson Creek, BC – Tuesday, May 6th (Encana Events Centre)
Calgary, AB – Friday, May 9th (Scotiabank Saddledome)
Edmonton, AB – Saturday, May 10th (Rexall Place)

Eminem, Bruno Mars and the Arcade Fire headline 2014 Squamish Valley Music Festival

We might still be in the grips of winter, but music fans in the Pacific Northwest were treated to a huge treat as the lineup for this summer’s Squamish Valley Music Festival was announced yesterday. Headliners for 2014 include Bruno Mars, The Arcade Fire, and rap megastar Eminem. Other notable acts – and there are many of them – include the Arctic Monkeys, Serena Ryder, Foster the People, Sam Roberts Band and Tokyo Police Club.

Shania Twain to perform at 2014 Calgary Stampede July 9th & 10th

Shania’s appearance at the Stampede is drawing a lot of comparisons with Garth Brooks’ performance in 2012 with regards to star power. Pop megastar Katy Perry is taking her chart-topping album PRISM on tour this summer! Joining her on tour on various dates will be Capital Cities, Kacey Musgraves and Tegan and Sara.

The ‘PRISMATIC WORLD TOUR’ will visit 46 North American cities over four months, beginning June 22nd in Raleigh, NC. The tour also includes just about every major Canadian city, including Montreal (July 15), Toronto (July 18), Calgary (August 29), Edmonton (August 31) and Vancouver (September 9). Tickets go on sale to the general public on January 27.
