Iconic songwriter, Brian Wilson, is set to play his first cross-Canada tour next summer in support of his newest album, Brian Wilson Re-imagines Gershwin.
The tour gets started in Kitchener, ON on June 16. Wilson will perform two weeks in Canada, closing out the tour at the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver on June 28.
Wilson gained fame for his time with the Beach Boys, but that isn’t where his musical pursuits ended. He has had continued success in his solo career. In his newest effort, Brian Wilson Re-imagines Gershwin, Wilson arranges Ira and George Gershwin classics with results that Rolling Stone Magazine calls “Porgy and Bess-meets-Pet Sounds.”
