Draw is set for Canada-Italy Davis Cup quarterfinal

The stage is set for some Canadian tennis history to be made, as the match-ups for this weekend’s Davis Cup quarterfinal between Canada and Italy were announced today.
Milos Raonic and Vasek Pospisil will play the singles matches on Friday and Sun, and the duo of Daniel Nestor and Pospisil will play the doubles match on Saturday. Jesse Levine will be a late substitute for Frank Dancevic for Team Canada, as Dancevic suffered a knee injury that is forcing him out of the tournament.

The match-ups for this weekend are as follows:

Friday (Singles) – Vasek Pospisil (CAN) vs Andreas Seppi (ITA), Milos Raonic (CAN) vs Fabio Fognini (ITA)
Saturday (Doubles) – Daniel Nestor/Vasek Pospisil (CAN) vs Daniele Bracciali/Paolo Lorenzi (ITA)
Sunday (Singles) – Milos Raonic (CAN) vs Andreas Seppi (ITA), Vasek Pospisil (CAN) vs Fabio Fognini (ITA)

The Rolling Stones release Spring 2013 concert tour dates

After months of speculation, we finally know when and where Mick Jagger and the boys will be touring this spring.

The much-anticipated announcement was made this morning that nine North American cities, as well as two in England, will host the Rolling Stones and the 50 and Counting tour. The Stones celebrated their 50th anniversary last year with five concert dates in London, New York and New Jersey last year, as well as a new compilation album titled GRRR!.

The new tour dates kick off in Los Angeles (date TBA due to the NHL and NBA playoffs), and run from May until June. Toronto was the only Canadian city on the list of concerts announced today.

Tickets for the Rolling Stones new dates went on presale today, with general onsales taking place April 8th.
