The deathrock band, Alien Sex Fiend, was formed in 1982 at the Batcave Club in London, but was based in Cardiff, Wales. They became well-known in gothic circles for their psychobilly, dark electronic, industrial sound. They employ heavy samples, loops and maniacal vocals from the Alice Cooper lineage.
After signing with the Cherry Red label of Angram Records, the first released single was entitled "Ignore The Machine," an immediate success. They produced eleven singles and five albums in the top twenty, plus the world's first 11" single, "E.S.T. (Trip to the Moon)" in '84. "Now I'm feeling Zombified" was featured on Beavis and Butthead.
