American rap, hip-hop and crunk artist, Lil' Scrappy, began his music career performing in local bars in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. For the first few years, he released his music on mix tapes and as singles. The Atlanta Braves used his song, "Head Bussa," as their theme song in 2004. He released his debut studio album, Bred 2 Die Born 2 Live in 2006. The song "Money in the Bank" peaked in the Billboard Top 100 chart. Lil Scrappy has collaborated with Lil Jon, 50 Cent and Three 6 Mafia.
The self-proclaimed Prince of Crunk, Lil Scrappy, has released no less than seven albums, including his solo and collaborative works. Two of the albums, Prince of the South and Prince of the South 2, were released independently so that he could maximize his control over the final product and create testaments to his versatility.
