Cypress Hill was the first Latino hip-hop group to achieve certified Platinum and multi-Platinum status with over 18 million albums sold worldwide. The band originated in South Gate, California, and is well-known as a West Coast rap group who's most recognizable hits include "Insane in the Brain," "Latin Thugs," and "I Ain't Goin' Out Like That." Cypress Hill has received three Grammy Nominations for "Best Rap Performance by a Group or Duo" and one nomination for the MTV Video Music Awards' "Best Rap Video."
