Help our CEO raise money for sick kids!

It’s not often that we post about internal matters, but we figured the more people who hear about this, the better. Our CEO, Mario Livich, will be volunteering with the Variety Show of Hearts Telethon on Sunday (tomorrow, February 12) to raise money for children with special needs.
There will be fabulous performances by Michael Buble, Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson, Adele, and many more, and Mario (along with a ton of other fantastic volunteers) will be spending some time taking phone calls from viewers who’d like to donate. Please tune in – it will be some wonderfully entertaining TV, and if you’re able to make a donation, it would mean a lot to a group of very special kids.
On Sunday, you can reach Mario directly at 604.529.3001. You can also reach the main line toll-free anywhere in BC or Alberta by simply dialing 310-KIDS (5437), or visit Variety online at Please consider donating – you could really make a difference in a child’s life!

Together they instructed guests on how to strategically plan their media campaigns to garner attention during the Olympics media blitz by pitching to the media, developing relationships, and using social media to break through! attends the Tourism Vancouver Showcase

Entering it’s twenty-fourth year in the business, one of the top ticket re-sellers in Canada, attended the Tourism Vancouver Showcase this past Wednesday to promote it’s Concierge and Affiliate plans, as well as to connect with other locally owned businesses. Amidst the frenzy of attendees surrounding their booth was ShowTimeTickets’ representative at the show, Colin Hanes, and Founder and CEO, Mario Livich. Over the course of the four-hour event, locally owned businesses and concierges from hotels approached the booth and were introduced to the opportunites available to them through partnership with the Vancouver-based company. Many of the guests had had previous experience buying and selling through ShowTimeTickets and seemed very interested in the possibility of new entreupenurial ventures.

There were nearly 100 individual booths showcasing the many attractions and services the city has to offer to both tourists and locals alike, ranging from tours, to shows, to natural attractions. The show took place at the newly completed Vancouver Convention Centre on the waterfront in downtown Vancouver, offering a beautiful view of Vancouver as it prepares itself for the upcoming surge in Tourist activity as the 2010 Olympic games fast approach. Overall the convention was a great success as friendships were formed and business contacts were made, suggesting a bright future for local businesses and tourism in the coming years.
