DJ Earworm is twisted genius – every year, he takes the 25 most popular songs on the radio and mashes them all into one crazy megamix: Adele, Pitbull, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Rihanna, Foster the People, LMFAO, Nicki Minaj, and more. It’s somewhere between Girl Talk and Glee, and it’s absolutely going to blow you away.

Since he uploaded the 2011 “United State of Pop” mix less than a week ago, it’s already received almost 4 million hits on YouTube. Check it out for yourself below.

Adele’s “Someone Like You” on accordion: oddly great!

Since a friend sent us this accordion version of Adele’s “Someone Like You,” we haven’t been able to stop playing it around the office.

YouTuber Brynn Corbello doesn’t just let her accordion and voice loose on Adele, though: she’s got a bevy of covers, ranging from Trey Songz to Lady Gaga. Here’s one we particularly enjoyed, of Gaga’s “Paparazzi.”

Check out her YouTube channel here, and let us know if you find any other great covers in the comments below!

Lady Gaga creates “Born This Way” Foundation to empower youth, prevent bullying

Always-weird, often-wonderful singer Lady Gaga recently announced the creation of a new project aimed at empowering youth. Her new group, the Born This Way Foundation, is the result of a period of reflection after the suicide of a young fan of hers, whose final tweet thanked her. On Twitter, she revealed she spent several days “reflecting, crying, and yelling. I have so much anger. It is hard to feel love when cruelty takes someone’s life.”

Now, she’s putting that energy to good use: with the help of the John D. & Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, the California Endowment and Harvard University, her new project will attempt to reduce youth depression, bullying, and suicide. The Foundation launches in 2012; stay tuned for more information.

Lady Gaga does “Edge of Glory” Live on Howard Stern

After what seems like a dozen singles, a hundred ridiculous outfits, and a smattering of reactions ranging from shock to adoration to indifference over the past few months, it’s easy to lose sight of the fact that Lady Gaga is undoubtedly one of the most talented artists on the Billboard pop charts. Watching her performance on Howard Stern TV, though, it’s impossible not to be reminded of the artist formerly known as Stefani Germanotta’s incredible talent.
