Swift’s Speak Now Kicks Off This Week

Country superstar, Taylor Swift, will launch her Speak Now Tour tomorrow in Singapore. After a string of Asian dates, Swift will take to Europe for shows all over the U.K. through March.

The highly anticipated North American leg of the tour will kick off with two nights at Staples Center in Los Angeles on April 23rd and 24th. Over forty shows are scheduled in the U.S. and Canada in 2011.

Tim McGraw Kicks Off Emotional Traffic in Spring

Sugarland Tours Through October

Country favorites, Sugarland, have just announced that they will be continuing the Incredible Machine Tour with over sixty dates in 2011. The new dates will kick off in Houston on March 3, and take the band to cities all over the U.S. and Canada through October.

The duo will be touring in support of their fourth release, The Incredible Machine. They will be joined on the road by Sara Bareilles, Matt Nathanson, and Little Big Town.

Alan Jackson Brings Freight Train Tour to Canada

Country music’s Alan Jackson will be bringing his Freight Train Tour to Canada in February. The tour begins in Sudbury, ON on February 1st, and ends in Dawson Creek, BC on March 31st.

Jackson is touring in support of his newest studio album, Freight Train, which hit the shelves last spring. Jackson’s best-of album, 34 Number Ones, which includes a cover of Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire,” was released in November.

Last week, Taylor Swift announced the dates for the North American leg of her Speak Now World Tour set for 2011. The venues are still being confirmed for what will be a forty-two city tour.

Speak Now will kick off with two nights in Omaha, NE on May 27 and 28. Swift will play four Canadian cities, including Montreal, Toronto, Edmonton, and Vancouver, before closing out the tour in Arlington, TX on October 8.
