Mumford & Sons, Drake and Sam Smith to headline Squamish Valley Music Festival

Gear up, Squamish – some big names are coming to town this summer!

The Squamish Valley Music Festival is rapidly making a name for itself as a marquee date for music fans, and 2015 welcomes the likes of British soul star Sam Smith, folk rockers Mumford and Sons, and Canadian rapper Drake. The three-day festival will take over the Logger Sports Grounds on August 7, 8 and 9. Tickets go on sale next week.

Squamish will mark the third time in less than a year that Sam Smith will perform in the Vancouver area. Within such a short time period and no new album set for release, fans will likely be treated to Smith’s existing (albeit very good) material that has rocketed him to stardom in the past year.

Conversely, those lining up to see Drake will get treated to new material on his recently-released album If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, which appeared on iTunes on February 13.
