Saskatchewan Roughriders and Hamilton Tiger-Cats set to square off in 101st Grey Cup

grey-cup-101-ticketsThe teams for the 101st Grey Cup championship game this Sunday are now set, following yesterday’s CFL Conference Finals. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats defeated the Toronto Argonauts 36-24 at Rogers Centre to earn their ticket to Regina where they will face the West champion Saskatchewan Roughriders. The Riders beat the Calgary Stampeders 35-13 in the West Final to earn their Grey Cup berth on home turf.
The championship game takes place this Sunday, November 24 at Mosaic Stadium in Regina. The atmosphere in Rider Nation is sure to be electric all week long leading up to kickoff! The Grey Cup Festival will feature some of Canada’s most prominent music acts performing all week, including the Barenaked Ladies, Hedley and The Sheepdogs.

Kanye West postpones entire Yeezus Tour due to equipment issues

There’s been no shortage of bad news coming from Kanye West’s Yeezus Tour these days. The rapper announced this week that the entirety of the tour has been postponed due to a truck accident that damaged key pieces of stage equipment. The same incident caused the Vancouver concert on Oct. 31st to be postponed at the last minute for the second time. It’s now apparent that the damaged video screen and truss will not be replaced in time for the rest of the Yeezus Tour to go as planned.

Make-up dates have not yet been announced.

Michael Bublé announces Canadian To Be Loved tour dates – in Vancouver June 19

Canadian crooner Michael Buble is coming back home next summer. Buble is already performing in the U.S. this November in support of his hit album To Be Loved that came out earlier this spring.

The new Canadian leg of the tour begins June 19, 2014 in his hometown of Vancouver, BC. The other cities are Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto, London, Ottawa and Montreal. Tickets will go on general onsale to the public on November 15.
