For Those About to Rock (and Pop, and Country, and Metal)…

Greetings, fellow music lovers, and welcome to the newly redesigned ConcertPULSE blog at ShowTimeTickets.com! My name’s Max, and over the coming months, I’ll be covering all the latest happenings in the music world, bringing you news, gossip, and ticket info for pretty much every act going on a summer 2011 concert tour. My taste is pretty eclectic, so I’ll be covering artists from almost any genre you can think of.

From Taylor Swift to Rocket from the Crypt, U2 to Hüsker Dü, I’ll be taking a look at goings-on in the music world, and letting you know about concert dates and tours to check out in your area.

For up-to-the-minute info about concert tickets and more, follow @ShowTimeTickets on Twitter. Also check out our sister blogs, Hockey Talk and TicketMatter, for information about hockey and tips on how to get the best deals on event tickets.

New Kid on the Block

Hey there blogosphere! My name is Andrea and I’m one of the new bloggers behind ShowTimeTickets.com Ticket Matter blog.
wickedEver since I was little I’ve loved seeing shows on stage and I have a particular fondness for musicals. My favourite shows that have been to Vancouver so far are Spamalot and Singing in the Rain.
Each year you’ll also find me at Pacific Coliseum when Disney On Ice comes to town.
I’m looking forward to bringing you the scoop about the great shows and sporting events coming to Vancouver! Right now I’m eagerly awaiting Wicked, which will be playing all next month at the Queen Elizabeth Theater.
So what shows are you most looking forward to seeing?

Hello Out There!

I’m on the air. It’s Hockey Night tonight!
Or should I say hi! My name’s Andrea and I’m one of the new bloggers behind ShowTimeTickets.com Hockey Talk.
canucksOriginally from Winnipeg, my home team left when I was young. Now a West Coast transplant, I have to say I still wear my Jets hoodie with pride. Though I now cheer for the Vancouver Canucks, Winnipeg will always have a place in my heart (they’ll be back!).
I can admit to having played foot hockey in the schoolyard in -30 and street hockey in the “Wet coast” rain. Talk about growing up Canadian!
So pull up your laptop, iPad, or monitor, and lets talk about the good ol’ hockey game. The best game you can name!
(Did I mention I have a dorky sense of humour?)

Canucks & Sharks Battle Toward the Cup

canucksIt’s game two of the Western Conference Final tonight in Vancouver, as the Canucks take on the Sharks at Rogers Arena.

The Canucks go in with the advantage of having won Sunday’s series one game with a score of 3-2, but a lot of NHL commentators are saying that game two is looking better for the Sharks, who despite having had two days off between series, struggled to gain momentum after a fierce seven game battle with the Red Wings.

Tickets are still available for tonight’s game. Be there live, and witness the battle toward the cup. Get tickets below box office prices from ShowTimeTickets.com, where we are never sold out!
