International pop star, Justin Bieber, is starting the week off right. As of Friday, Bieber had taken the lead over Lady Gaga’s video for “Bad Romance” with over 600,000 views. Today, Bieber officially has the most watched video in Youtube history with his video for the hit single, “Baby.” The video has had over 250 million hits.

In other Bieber news, Bluewater Productions, a publishing house who specializes in comics, announced that Bieber will be the new subject of their “Fame” series. The series has previously focused on Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, and Robert Pattinson, to name a few. The comic book biography will chart Bieber’s quick rise to fame, from Youtube self-posts to international stardom. The book will be out in October of this year. Read More

The Wall Tour to Include Special Guest

By now, Pink Floyd fans everywhere are aware that Roger Waters will be touring The Wall in its entirety later this year.

In a surprise announcement yesterday on his Facebook page, Roger Waters revealed that former band member, David Gilmour, will join him for a single show along the tour. The two have agreed to perform the iconic song “Comfortably Numb” on stage together!

No details on which show will feature the special appearance. For now, and maybe until the actual event occurs, “it’s a surprise.”

The annual heavy metal music festival, Ozzfest, is back in 2010. The festival will kick off its fourteenth year in San Bernardino, California on August 14.

The Lion King made its debut at Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver this week, and will continue with daily performances through August 8. The show will hit several U.S. cities in the fall.
Lion King the musical is based on the Disney movie of the same name. It debuted at the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis  in 1997, and was an instant sensation. The following year, Lion King was awarded six Tony awards, including Best Musical. This one-of-a-kind production has reached an audience of over forty million people.
