Alice in Chains Join Deftones and Mastodon for Fall Tour

It’s official! Alice in Chains have announced that they will team up with Deftones and Mastodon for a tour this fall. The hard-rock tour is being called BlackDiamondSkye, and begins in Chicago, Illinois on September 16th.

The bands had been teasing their fans for over a week, but the official announcement came last Thursday.

“We’re really looking forward to touring with our friends, Deftones and Mastodon,” Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains said in a statement. “Each band has its own unique flavor and the combination of all three will make for a great show and a good time on the road.” Read More

Jack Johnson Hits the Road with To The Sea

Jack Johnson is hitting the road this summer on a world tour in support of his new album, To The Sea. This is his fifth studio album, and has a release date of June 1st.
Johnson found success as a musician with his first record, Brushfire Fairytales, back in 2001, but has been playing music most of his life. Growing up in Hawaii, Johnson learned to play the ukelele as a child, and developed a love for music during family sing-alongs. Roger Waters on The Wall Tour

British rocker, Roger Waters, will be touring this fall with five dates scheduled for Canada. He now performs as a solo act, but is most revered for his work as a member of Pink Floyd.

As the primary writer for Pink Floyd, Waters greatly influenced their music. In fact, the band’s ninth studio release, The Wall, was written and composed almost entirely by Waters. Because of songs like “Hey You,” “Comfortably Numb,” and “Another Brick in the Wall,” The Wall is among the most celebrated of the many great albums produced by Pink Floyd. Read More
