Tool on Tour Next Month

American metal band, Tool, will kick off their 2010 tour at the UNO Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana on June 19th. The band has four dates scheduled for Canada. The final stop is set for the ARCO Arena in Sacramento, California on July 13th.

No official word yet on an opening act, but rumor has it that the band is working on a new album. Fans shouldn’t get too excited about an all-new set list. While the rumor mill is always churning, Tool is known to take their time writing new material. Read More

Tool adds six shows to current tour

Tool, who had already announced a summer tour – albeit a short one — has just announced that six more shows will be added to their current lineup of shows, pushing the total number of stops to eleven.

The tour will begin on July 18th in Commerce City, CO and will continue until their final show on August 9th at the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago, IL. The new dates have been added to the middle of their tour, and will undoubtedly please fans of the prog-metal band who had thought their tour was previously a little short on dates.

Some Tool tickets are currently on sale now, whie others will go on sale May 29th and 30th.
