It’s been nearly 50 years since The Beatles played at Empire Stadium in Vancouver, but Sir Paul McCartney still knows how to make an entrance. With a little help from the folks at BC Place, Vancouver’s skyline has a distinctly British flavour nowadays with the Union Jack projecting from the stadium’s roof.

Paul McCartney brings his “On the Run” tour to Vancouver & Edmonton

The Beatles are back!

Well, one of them anyway.

In case you missed it, Paul McCartney will be taking his “On the Run” world tour to Vancouver and Edmonton this November. It’s the first time he’s been back in Vancouver since 1964 (when The Beatles played in Empire Stadium), and his November 28 date at Rexall Place will be his first-ever appearance in Edmonton.

His tour is a small one at only four cities, but is sure to be one of the hottest tickets around this fall:

Sun. Nov. 25 BC Place, Vancouver BC
