This year’s MLS Cup to be held in Toronto will be full of surprises, but the weather is not one of them.

For mid-November in Toronto a couple of degrees above 0 is not something to complain about, but for many players competing in Sunday’s MLS Cup, the weather will bring a shock to their system.

By the time the game kicks off at 8:30pm, the temperature should be far below the daily high of 8, but the FC Dallas and Colorado Rapids players have far more important things on their mind.

“I mean it’s the championship,” said Dallas player Atiba Harris originally from St. Kitts and Nevis. “I don’t think the cold weather’s going to bother us, especially when we’re competing in the most important game of FC Dallas history.” Dallas is led by the MLS Most Valuable Player, David Ferreira.
