Madeleine Peyroux schedules North American dates

Madeleine Peyroux, a well-known yet incredibly low-key French-American singer and songwriter, has just announced a number of dates for a short North American tour, totalling twelve shows throughout the summer. She will kick off the tour in New York City at the Town Hall on June 18th, continue through until June, and then begin a series of shows scattered across the months until September 16th where she will end her tour with a show in Park City, Utah.

Known at first simply for her renditions of famous songs by Billie Holiday, Bob Dylan, and Leonard Cohen, Peyroux has moved on to performing original songs and collaborations with songwriters such as Jesse Harris, Walter Becker, and Larry Klein, and ultimately performing her own creatins on her recently released album, “Bare Bones.”
