Jay-Z on Chris Brown: UNIMPRESSED.

Jay-Z had a front row seat for troubled singer Chris Brown’s performance at the MTV VMAs, and it was obvious that years after Chris Brown’s assault on his then-girlfriend Rihanna, Jay has yet to become a member of Team Breezy. During Brown’s wildly athletic (though obviously lip-synced) dance performance, MTV’s cameras kept cutting to Jay-Z sitting in his seat, totally unmoving amidst a sea of clapping, dancing fellow celebs. Awkward, to say the least, but not surprising: Jay-Z discovered Rihanna, and was largely responsible for the success of her early singles.

What do you think? Is it time for everyone involved to move on, or does Chris Brown not deserve to have a career?
