Rihanna

Rihanna is set to kick off the Last Girl on Earth Tour this Sunday, July 4th at GM Place in Vancouver, B.C. The tour was originally scheduled to begin July 2nd at the White River Amphitheatre in Auburn, Washington, but was canceled due to “production changes” according to the  Rihanna camp.

Canucks Attempt to Even Series

Roberto Luongo
Roberto Luongo

A goal merely 59 seconds into the game was just the start the Canucks were hoping for Sunday in Chicago. On what could have been an elimination night, the Canucks had no other choice but to show up, and play the game that we all know they are capable of, and more notably, the game that netminder Roberto Luongo is capable of.
There has been a lot of speculation around Luongo, and whether or not he would be able to pick up his socks and help his team come back from the 3-1 deficit. Until last night, I’d say the chances were slim to none. Seemingly holding on to the ghosts of last year’s series against the hawks, Lou has been looking far from confident in between the pipes, letting in 16 goals from rebounds in this series alone! KISS 35th anniversary tour dates finalized

KISS has just announced the scheduled dates for their “KISS Alive 35” tour in celebration of 35 years of the band, as well as in support of their upcoming studio album, “Sonic Boom,” scheduled for an October 6th release.

The tour is set to hit 39 different cities, with their two opening shows both to be played in the “Rock City,” Detroit, on September 25th and 26th. The tour will continue throughout the fall, with the final show taking place in Dallas, TX on December 6th.

On the tour the band has seven scheduled Canadian stops, with one more scheduled for October 7th in Oshawa, a show that was recently surrounded in controversy due to KISS leaving the city off the itinerary despite having won an online poll that guaranteed them a show. However, band co-founder Gene Simmons had revealed under pressure that the band had planned all along to play in Oshawa on the day their new album is released, but wanted to keep it a surprise.

KISS Tickets have gone on sale for some cities, but many other cities are still waiting for the public sale to take place Saturday, August 29th, and even more still are waiting for any ticket information at all.

Blink 182: reunited and touring!

Blink 182 members Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge, and Travis barker are set to tour over the course of this summer as they reunite nearly five years after splitting up, playing a total of 47 cities over the three month reunion tour. The tour begins July 24th in Las Vegas and continues to October 3 in Atlantic City, with an eight show stint in Canada through July and August.

Best known for their late-90’s hits such as “What’s My Age Again?,” “All The Small Things,” and “The Rock Show,” Blink 182 hasn’t actually released any new music since their self-titled album in 2003, but that isn’t stopping them from trying to give their fans an amazing experience: “After a four year break, we’re ready to get out on the road and play what we hope will be the most amazing tour of the season,” said Hoppus.

Not only has the band worked hard with promoters to ensure the Blink 182 tickets remain affordable, but the all-star lineup of bands touring with the trio will make every ticket worth the price of entry. Fans can expect sets from Weezer, Fall Out Boy, All American Rejects, Panic at the Disco, Taking Back Sunday, Asher Roth and Chester French, playing at selected stops on the tour.
