Creed finalizes dates for summer/fall tour

Creed, after announcing that the band will be ending their six year hiatus and return to the stage with all four original band members, have finalized the dates for their summer and fall tour. Frontman Scott Stapp, guitarist Mark Tremonti, drummer Scott Phillips and bassist Brian Marshall will be hitting the stage in 41 different cities, with their first show being on August 6th in Burgettstown, PA. The band will continue to tour across the United States before performing their finale in Nashville, TN on October 14th.

Frontman Stapp is quick to point out that this is by no means a reunion: “We never felt like we weren’t together…. It’s more of a rebirth.” Apparently the band’s ambitions to create new music has also seen a rebirth, as they have plans to release a new studio album during the tour or shortly after. Tentatively titled “Full Circle,” the album will be the first taste of new music since the band released “Weathered” in 2001.
