Tupac Live – sort of – at Coachella 2012

By Kat

It’s been all the talk surrounding the Coachella Music Festival down in Indio, California, but in case you missed it rap legend Tupac Shakur returned to the stage last weekend. Apparently being dead still isn’t enough to keep him down.

The reanimation reportedly cost well over $100,000 to produce and even has its own Twitter account. There’s even the possibility that Tupac 2.0 will accompany Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg on tour.

Changes to the venerable Coachella festival this year included expanding the event to two weekends rather than one. Music fans who missed out last weekend – or wanting to come back for more – get another chance this weekend to see their favorite acts live on stage.
