We might still be in the grips of winter, but music fans in the Pacific Northwest were treated to a huge treat as the lineup for this summer’s Squamish Valley Music Festival was announced yesterday. Headliners for 2014 include Bruno Mars, The Arcade Fire, and rap megastar Eminem. Other notable acts – and there are many of them – include the Arctic Monkeys, Serena Ryder, Foster the People, Sam Roberts Band and Tokyo Police Club.

Three-day passes and single-day tickets will go on sale to the public next week.
Riding the success of his hit single “Locked Out Of Heaven” and the release of his second album last December, Bruno Mars is going back on tour this summer. The Grammy-Award winning singer announced dates and cities for the Moonshine Jungle World Tour last week, which will see him perform in cities all over North America and Europe starting this June. Joining him on tour will be Ellie Goulding and Fitz & the Tantrums.
