Tim Tebow's a New York Jet: Publicity Stunt or the Real Deal?

By Ryan O.
As soon as I found out Peyton Manning was going to sign with the Denver Broncos, I wondered what team would trade for Tim Tebow? The one team that I thought made sense was the Jacksonville Jaguars because Tebow is from that area, Jacksonville is in need of a player that will help sell tickets, and the Jaguars are a team that Tebow could actually start at QB for.

When I found out the New York Jets traded for Tim Tebow, I was a little surprised because they had just signed QB Mark Sanchez to an extension, and announced him as the starter right after trading for Tebow. This doesn’t make sense for a couple of reasons. Continue reading

By Bryce Lokken

The 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs are roughly scheduled to begin April 12th. Right now, it’s likely that the Vancouver Canucks will face either Dallas, Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Jose or perhaps Colorado or Calgary. In the ultra-tight Western Conference, the standings will be a crazy game of musical chairs right up until the regular season concludes on April 7th. For Vancouver Canucks fans, the memory of last year’s run to Game 7 of the Finals is still fresh. As they await their eventual opponent – perhaps feeling reasonably assured of a lengthy playoff run – the first round may feel like a mere formality.

However, anything can happen in the Stanley Cup playoffs. Here are –  by possible opponent – reasons why you should get your tickets for the first round: Continue reading

Center Ice tickets of today Vs. the 3D Viewing of tomorrow

Today’s technology is pushing the limits of visual viewing. We turn on the TV to high definition and experience the game in more detail than the majority of the seats we pay the big bucks for. Now the already amazing quality we get on our home theatre systems has been pushed to a whole new level. 3D TVs deliver that all so important third dimension of viewing that until now we’ve been missing. For the first time, the 2012 Summer Games will include 3D coverage. Continue reading

Tiger Woods favored to win the PGA Masters

By Kat
Tiger Woods
It’s been a long time coming, but Tiger Woods finally seems to be back on the winning trail. His victory at the Arnold Palmer Invitational over the weekend was his first since 2009, when his famous sex scandal turned his personal and professional life upside-down.  The five-stroke margin of victory on Sunday has many declaring the untouchable Tiger of old to be back. That assertion was backed up by bookmakers, who penned Tiger as the 4-1 favorite to win the prestigious Masters tournament held next week. He’ll have plenty of stiff competition in Augusta, with Rory McIlroy nipping at his heels as the next favorite at 5-1 odds.
What are your predictions for the 2012 Masters tournament? Will Tiger reclaim his position as the man to beat in golf?
You can watch the all the drama of the this year’s Masters unfold live in Augusta, GA next week; ShowTimeTickets.com can get you to all the best sporting events anywhere in the world. Get your tickets to the 2012 Masters and what could be history in the making!

Spring is finally upon us, and with it our attention turns to plans for the sunnier days ahead. The spring and summer are always marked by big concert announcements and dates. And the winner is…..the Denver Broncos

After being wooed by the Tennessee Titans, San Francisco 49ers, Miami Dolphins, New York Jets and Arizona Cardinals, Peyton Manning has chosen to sign with the Denver Broncos. The $96 million dollar deal will have Manning wearing a Broncos jersey for the next 5 years. The signing likely marks the end of Tim Tebow in Denver, leading to speculation to where the quarterback will end up next season.
Despite being a shoe-in for the Hall of Fame, many concerns will plague Manning until he proves himself on the field. Is he healthy enough to play? Can he still win? Will he be able to stir the fans into the same frenzy as Tebowmania? Give us your two cents!

When fans steal the show

When the Vancouver Canucks lost on home ice against the Dallas Stars last week, the story that stuck with us probably wasn’t the 5-2 score, but rather the dance moves of six-year-old Jack Millos:

That video has since gone viral, with well over a half million views in just a week.

After the game, Jack earned himself a game-worn jersey presented by the Canucks’ Dan Hamhuis, as well as a feature on the Canucks’ website. His moves were also picked up by a number of major American media outlets, including Good Morning America and Sports Illustrated.

Of course, Jack isn’t the only fan to have stolen the spotlight at a sporting event over the years:

What have been your favorite spectator moments caught on video? We want to hear from you!
