Along with several U.S. festivals, the Black Keys will be playing all over Canada this summer. The soulful duo will kick off their North American tour in Mesa, California on April 14th.

The seventeen date itinerary includes popular music festivals, Coachella, Bonaroo, and Festival D-ete de Quebec. Booker T. Jones and Nicole Atkins & The Black Sea will open shows scheduled between June 27th and July 13th.

Adele Plots North American Tour

British soul singer, Adele, has announced the dates for her upcoming North America tour in support of 21. The tour kicks off in Washington D.C. on May 12th. Along with Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver, Adele will play twenty U.S. cities through June.

Usher Brings OMG Back to North America

Currently on tour in the U.K., Usher has announced that he will return to North America for another round of OMG shows this spring.

The tour will kick off on April 27th in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The R&B star will make stops in two Canadian cities, Toronto and Vancouver, as well as eighteen U.S. cities, before closing out the tour in Los Angeles on June 1st.

Country superstar, Taylor Swift, will launch her Speak Now Tour tomorrow in Singapore. After a string of Asian dates, Swift will take to Europe for shows all over the U.K. through March.

The highly anticipated North American leg of the tour will kick off with two nights at Staples Center in Los Angeles on April 23rd and 24th. Over forty shows are scheduled in the U.S. and Canada in 2011.

Thousands will gather to see the Calgary Flames take on the Montreal Canadiens at McMahon Stadium in Calgary on February 20th. A lot could change between now and then as far as records are concerned. For now, the Flames and Canadiens are going into the Heritage Classic with records that qualify them for the playoffs.

Pixies Bring Doolittle Tour to Canada

The legendary Pixies will bring the Doolittle World Tour, which began in the fall of 2009, to Canada this spring. The tour kicks off in Halifax on April 9th, and closes out in Victoria on May 5th. The band will play two nights in Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, and Vancouver.

The group will be playing the 1989 album, Doolittle, in its entirety. What began as an anniversary tour is now in its second year. The Pixies have performed over fifty dates in the U.S. and Europe since 2009. Continue reading
