Inaugurated in 1999, the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) All-Star Game is an annual event wherein the best players from the East and West WNBA Conferences play against one another. Each conference team is made up of twelve players who have demonstrated the best seasonal performance for their respective conference. In addition to identifying the year's All-Star Champion team, media members select the game's Most Valuable Player (MVP). Of the first ten seasons wherein the WNBA All-Star Game has been played, the West Conference has claimed victory over the East.
The WNBA All-Star Game has a relatively young history when compared to the NBA, but the women of basketball will not stand idly by as sports history moves forward. Get your tickets now and come watch the players of the WNBA write their names in the history books, one hoop at a time.
