Born in 1979 in Mississippi, American pop singer, dancer, actor, film and TV producer, author Lance Bass was known as the bass singer for the boy band, 'N Sync. He starred in the '01 film, "On the Line." After the 'N Sync Pop Odyssey Tour, he formed Bass productions.
Bass moved to Star City in Russia with the express aim of acquiring a seat on the Soyuz space capsule. After sponsors backed out, he lost the opportunity. He was awarded the Human Rights Campaign Visibility Award in '06, and his autobiography, "Out of Sync," made the New York Times Bestseller List.
