Based in Brooklyn, New York, Grizzly Bear is an experimental rock band whose folk and psychedelic elements are masterfully blended with harmonious vocals and, at times, a pop edge. Originally begun as a solo project in the early 2000's, Ed Droste soon located and involved other talented artists. After the primarily solo, debut release titled Horn of Plenty, Now joined by Christopher Bear, Daniel Rossen and Chris Taylor, Grizzly Bear has developed a versatile style that celebrates the musical talents of each of its band members. They toured extensively with the band Radiohead.
One of the Grizzly Bear's most recent album releases, Veckatimest debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 chart and featured a dynamic and more confidant presentation of music that spans the genres of psychedelic, synth and pop. Grizzly Bear performs internationally when not recording.
