The history of the Grammy Award-winning, American vocal quartet, the Four Tops, is filled with musical and social harmonies that have lasted for more than half a century. Throughout their decades-long popularity, the Tops have melded a variety of genres into their musical style; jazz, soul, disco, rock and pop are just few examples. The original group, which included Levi Stubbs, Abdul "Duke" Fakir, Renaldo "Obie" Benson and Lawrence Payton, performed together from 1953 until 1997 without a single personnel change. Only when death or illness impacted the group did they seek new members to continue the traditions of their music. Their Billboard top hits include classics such as "I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch)," "Reach Out I'll Be There" "Ain't No Woman (Like the One I've Got)."
The current Four Tops, still including Fakir, continue to tour throughout the US performing a mix of the group's classic hits as well as incorporating some new songs. Come celebrate the iconic quartet that have been encouraging tapping toes for more than 50 years.
