Performing with the same explosive personality as her mother, Judy Garland, Liza Minnelli first made waves in the '69 film, "Sterile Cuckoo" and the '70 "Tell Me That You Love Me, Junie Moon." It was the '72 film, "Cabaret," however, that won Minnelli the Academy Award for Best Actress, although several less successful films followed.
Able to move freely between drama, comedy and musical, the versatile Minnelli won three Tonys, one Oscar, an Emmy, two Golden Globes and a Grammy Legend Award.
