Among the most famous female groups of all time, En Vogue is an R&B vocal band out of Oakland, Ca., formed by producers Denzil Foster and Thomas McElroy. They have won seven MTV awards, more than any female group in history. Add to that four Soul Train Awards, six American Music Awards and seven Grammy nominations.
They've spent 2,800 weeks on the Billboard charts. Their debut album, "Born to Sing," was released in '90, and the single "Hold On" became a pop hit and R&B Single of the Year. The second album, "Funky Divas," went platinum, with three million copies sold. The group has appeared on Sesame Street, The View and on A&E's "Private Sessions."
