An English alternative rock band from Oxford, Swervedriver stalled almost as soon as it began, going on hiatus in '98, but reformed for the '08 tour at the high-profile Coachella Festival. Their first three albums were reissued in '08/'09. The band's name was originally Shake Appeal.
Debuting a series of EPs in '91, the first being "Son of Mustang Ford," multiple members departed just after the first album, "Raise" and the Hultsfred Festival in Sweden, '92. Reuniting again in 2011, they played a European, North American and Australian tour.
