Born in 1967, the American musician, lyricist and vocalist is most noted for his work with Stone Temple Pilots, and his five year career with supergroup Velvet Revolver, alongside his solo career. The flamboyant performer often uses a megaphone for effect. Despite intermittent drug addiction and arrests, he is reportedly heroine-free since 2002.
In '08, Stone Temple Pilots undertook a seventy three appearance tour, and the successful reunion's album, "Core," contained four hit singles. The second album, "Purple," reverted to a more classic rock sound. "No. 4" was released with the hit, "Sour Girl."
